Have you been in a situation where you are on a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central instance and want to figure out the build number?
Well, look no further and simply open the System Information page:
and voila:

The above information is no longer valid. In the meantime, if you are running a version of Business Central that does not has the System Information page, then instead do the following.
At the right top of the page select the “question mark”, and then “Help and Support“:
At the bottom of the page that opens, you can see the version and build:
