Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016 has been released, as you might have noticed on many MVP-blogs and on the Microsoft Azure platform there’s now also a Dynamics NAV 2016 template available in the gallery:
It contains NAV 2016 pre-installed, which you will find in the menu under D:
In the C:\DEMO folder you will find setup and demo scripts, similar then in the 2015 template:
In order to use the Virtual Machine as a demo environment, using the demo scripts in the Virtual Machine, you will need to add the following public endpoints to the Virtual Machine:
- HTTP 80
- HTTPS 443
- Client 7046
- Soap 7047
- Odata 7048
- Help 49000
This is done using the Microsoft Azure Management Portal.
So if you would like to try or test-drive or try the
- Microsoft Dynamics NAV Windows Client
- Microsoft Dynamics NAV Web Client
- Microsoft Dynamics NAV Tablet Client
- Microsoft Dynamics NAV Phone Client
- Microsoft Dynamics NAV Development Environment
without performing a local installation, this is the place to be.

Just bought your book. PackT is not doing a good job of promoting it. I had no idea it was out there until I saw it on your blog.
